PROBLEM / OPPORTUNITY

Running a home services company is extremely difficult. Business owners must manage the schedule and quality of a highly distributed workforce, handle a bombardment of customer calls and requests, deal with the burden of payroll and billing, all while trying to grow in a highly competitive environment. These problems lead to high customer churn, low profits, and hours of wasted time.

SOLUTION / PRODUCT
ServiceBot combines field service management, CRM, scheduling, back office functionality and much more into a complete home services management platform. What makes us unique is the way we approach automation, especially with customer communication. Homeowner communication via text and email is completely integrated into our platform. This allows us to automate a lot of communication and tasks business owners would normally deal with daily.

For example, instead of a 30 minutes call to reschedule a visit, the homeowner can simply send a text to their service provider. Our text message bot then identifies the request using natural language processing, automatically handles the request, and communicates confirmation back to the homeowner. Combined with other proprietary features such as our “one click” billing (usually hours per day), scheduling algorithms and customer feedback, we can reduce overhead costs by 20-40% and increase revenue and lifetime value.

Home Services has a $400 billion plus market size and is made up of firms like home cleaning, electricians, lawn service, plumbers, and pool cleaners; combining to over 1.5 million firms in the US alone. Currently 80% of home service providers are not using a software solution, however 66% know they are going to need one to stay competitive so the timing is perfect. Of the ones using a software solution, their average spend is $7200 annually.
