Sarah Dossey Keilers and Senator (Yes, that’s really his name) Barnes met in 2011, when Sarah was touring with her band The Reliques and Senator was getting ready to move his entire family to Shanghai, China. Through some collaborative work on marketing and promotional efforts for The Reliques, the two quickly discovered their mutual love for SEO, video, online branding and identity, and other various nerdy ventures. They also share in a constant struggle with “tall people problems”.
Only a few years after their first project together for The Reliques, The Greatwoods was born. Together, Sarah and Senator set out to first and foremost create really great content and design work, while simultaneously putting a spotlight on other creatives, brands, and dreamers that they feel the world needs to meet.
Currently, Senator (a student of Mandarin) and his wife and three sweet, wild little girls are residents of China, while Sarah (a self-inflicted starving artist) and her husband reside with their multi-dog family in Texas.
